May be in these birds pictures you will find some to keep with you?
I’m not even trying to tell you which one on these crane photos is a male and which one a female (what usually is easy in the case of birds).
Turns out that grey crowned crane males and females are almost indistinguishable.
Most of these pictures were taken in the Jungle Park (Tenerife-Spain) – known for its large collection of mostly predator birds like falcons, eagles, vultures etc.. You can see them from close on other pages of this website as pointed out at the end of this page in form of intra-links.
On the following pictures you see the grey crowned cranes – birds beautifully decorated with a crown of stiff feathers on the top of their heads.
