But believe me – it is worth to have this experience at least once in your lifetime. And many of you (as myself) do not have not only an “outdated” swimming pool in the backyard, but do not even have a backyard at all.
So while there is nothing to loose a potential emotional gain is unlimited. Yes, because as you will see on this Iguazu Hotel with Infinity Pools Pictures page an infinite pool if properly designed and blended with fabulous surroundings provides much more than the physical pleasure for the body.
It is a real emotional pleasure, you felt with all your senses, washing out your stress, worries… giving you a dream like experience.

Trees in the middle of the water make the border between the rain-forest and pool invisible.
So strong impression - ubiquitous jungle and an endless pool of water....

Facts about the Infinity Pools
The infinity edge pools (called also “disappearing edge or vanishing edge pools” are designed the way to produce a visual effect of water extending beyond the horizon or in other words being endless.
It is believed that the concept of the infinite pool design originated in eastern Asia as an inspiration from the omnipresent terraced rice paddies filled with water. I guess it is easy to imagine these jaw-dropping views from the rice paddies on a slope of the hill facing the sea.
From the position of kneeling in the terrace with the water slowly spilling over the edge you may see your rice field extending miles away to finally vanish far beyond everything you can comprehend…..
Just shortly for those interested – an infinity swimming pool is an expensive design and its most important aspect necessary to feel the dreams is the right background you may find on the cliff or on the tip of the mountains – be it ocean, lake, forest or any other dramatic vista on the unspoiled nature.
That is why you find them only in some luxury resorts (and on the folders).
From the technical point of view it is a complex engineering design with two circulation systems. One - smaller is a classical water filtering system. The second one with more powerful pumps is used to maintain the proper water level to keep the impression of infinity. It consists of the drain system along the walls (called catch basin) to collect the overflowing water and after passing it through the filters quickly return to the pool.
It should have capability to quickly compensate large water level fluctuations in public swimming pools. In the properly designed infinity pools the water level is always few millimeters higher than the edges to maintain the effects of endlessness. As you can imagine such design is a combined effect of engineering skills and artistic vision – indeed it is a modern era art.
That is exactly what you will see in Iguazu Falls Loi Suites hotel – an expression of an art. It is a manifestation of someone’s vision how to blend this engineering marvel with the surrounding rainforest, actually to let the jungle remain in the middle of the swimming pool. A display of lights discreetly emphasizing the details of nature adds an extra charm during the night to these anyhow fabulous swimming pools.
I guarantee you that these infinity pools will refresh not only your body after the physically and emotionally exhausting visit to the Iguazu Falls. They will go beyond expectation providing also for your soul.
And last thing to know - the service around the pool is very efficient with fresh towels always available and someone on hand to bring a glass of vine, cocktail or fresh juice. I’m sure that this Hotel with Infinity Pools Pictures opened for you the new world – literally extending your experience beyond the horizon of what you experienced so far. Well, I guess you recognized on these pictures that there is something magic in endless pools.
